QIGONG & YIN - A 3 day workshop to to Rebalance Body and Mind

with Aaron Quinn | 15–17 August 2026 | Dragonfly Village, Ubud, Bali

Over three days, unwind through gentle Qigong movement and deep, supported Yin stillness under the guidance of Aaron Quinn, a 1000+ hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher and Master Freediver. 9 AM – 4:30 PM daily | All levels welcome

Overview

Qigong and Yin practice sit at two ends of the same breath, one builds energy through slow, deliberate movement, the other releases it through long, supported stillness. This 3 day immersion brings both together in a single, connected system.

Aaron’s approach is grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Rather than treating Qigong and Yin as separate practices, he teaches them as two halves of the same system. Qigong moves energy through the meridians using active breath and form, while Yin opens and lengthens along those same meridian lines through long, passive holds. The movement in the morning primes the tissue and channels for the stillness that follows, and the stillness in turn allows the energy raised through Qigong to settle and circulate. It’s a complete loop, not two separate classes stitched together.

Over three full days in the beautiful Shala at Dragonfly Village, overlooking rice fields, you will move through mindful morning meditation, structured Qigong forms, and restorative Yin sessions under the guidance of Aaron Quinn, whose teaching draws on over 1,000 hours of Yoga and Meditation training, freediving, and years of study across India, Europe, and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

No. The workshop is designed for complete beginners as well as those with prior practice. Aaron guides you through each form and posture step by step, so you can move at your own pace.

No. This is a restorative program. Qigong sessions involve slow, deliberate movement, and Yin postures are held passively with support — the emphasis is on breath, stillness, and release rather than exertion or intensity.

Aaron teaches both through a Traditional Chinese Medicine lens, so they’re designed to support each other rather than sit side by side. Qigong actively moves energy along the meridians through breath and form, and Yin then holds long, passive stretches along those same meridian pathways to release and deepen what the Qigong has opened. Practicing them together in one day, rather than on separate days, is what makes the loop complete.

Comfortable, breathable clothing you can move and sit in easily. Water, herbal tea, and mosquito repellent are provided throughout the day, so no need to bring your own. A light layer for the cooler morning session is recommended.
